A. Personal Data

• Account Information: If you sign in via Google or Email (Firebase Authentication), we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to manage your account and synchronize your progress.
• User Identifiers: Unique IDs generated by Firebase to distinguish your account across devices.

B. Usage & Progress Data

• Sadhana Analytics: Jap counts, mantra progress, streaks, level progress, and Aura points.
• Digital Assets: Information regarding virtual rewards like Divine Cards, virtual coins, and boosters earned or purchased within the app.
• Interaction Data: Stories read, audio/video playback progress (via YouTube/ExoPlayer), and participation in the Global Sangh Leaderboard.

C. Device & Technical Information

• Identifiers: Device ID, IP address, and Advertising ID (Android AAID).
• System Logs: OS version, device model, app performance logs (Firebase Crashlytics), and network connectivity status.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Core Features: To power the Digital Jap Counter, 108 Cycle Mala, and Streak Tracking.
• Local Data Architecture: For your privacy and offline convenience, core Jap counts and Sadhana progress are stored locally on your device using a Room Database. This data is only synced to our secure cloud servers (Firebase) when an internet connection is available to enable cross-device synchronization and Leaderboard participation.
• Gamification: To manage the Global Sangh Leaderboard and allocate Aura points and Divine Cards.
• Personalization: To recommend spiritual content and stories based on your interests.
• Communications: To send push notifications regarding streaks, challenges, or administrative updates (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

3. Third-Party Services & AdMob Compliance

NaamSetu integrates several industry-standard SDKs that may collect data independently:

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may use your Advertising ID and device parameters for ad personalization, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. We support app-ads.txt verification for transparency.
• Firebase (by Google): Used for Authentication, Firestore (database), Cloud Messaging, and Analytics. Firebase helps us understand app usage and keep your data synced.
• Google Play Billing: All financial transactions for virtual assets are handled securely through the official Google Play Billing system. We do not store or process raw credit card or bank details on our servers.
• Play Integrity API: To ensure the app is running in a secure environment and to prevent fraud.
• Install Referrer: To attribute app installs to marketing campaigns or referrals.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Retention: We retain your progress and profile data as long as your account is active. Local Room DB data remains on your device until you clear the app cache or uninstall the app.
• Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time by contacting us at support@naamsetu.com. You can also reset your local data via the App Settings menu.

5. Children's Privacy

NaamSetu is a spiritual tool intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us, and we will take immediate steps to delete such information.

6. Security

We implement robust security measures, including Encrypted SharedPreferences for sensitive local data and industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for all network requests (Retrofit/Firebase) to protect your information from unauthorized access.
